Meet Dr. Lorenzo Nardo, 2026 ACRF Grant Recipient
The UC Davis Cancer Center has chosen Dr. Lorenzo Nardo as this year’s recipient of the Christine and Helen Landgraf Memorial Research Award. Dr. Nardo is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and nuclear medicine physician fellowship-trained in oncologic imaging. He has special clinical interest in musculoskeletal radiology including sport medicine and osteoarthritis. The Landgraf Award funds will primarily support ongoing research efforts focused on the development and clinical translation of novel molecular imaging and theranostic approaches in oncology. The support will also facilitate pilot studies and generation of preliminary data that can accelerate future clinical applications and larger-scale funding opportunities.

About Us
The ACRF raises money for the Christine and Helen Landgraf Memorial Fund, which has given annual grants to doctors and research scientists at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center since 1973. The Landgraf Award was created by John and Helen Landgraf to honor their daughter, Christine, who died of Hodgkin’s disease at the age of 27.
